The micro-fleece is woven using a thin polyester yarn, which produces a fabric with many more tiny air pockets than in a traditional woven fleece. These air pockets are readily warmed by the body, giving them excellent insulating properties. At the same time, they let the body breathe, so moisture is wicked away and you stay dry.
